    The FARO Focus laser scanner has an intuitive touchscreen with a very bright display. Remote control is flexibly possible via smartphone, tablet or computer using the WLAN hotspot created on the scanner.

You achieve efficiency not only through reduced scanning times, but also through the optimized workflow right through to data output. The workflow with the FARO Focus Premium Max, Focus Premium (or Focus Core) not only eliminates the need for registration and processing in the office, but also gives project participants direct access to the scan data.

The Stream app on the smartphone or tablet (Android/iOS) forms the interface between the Focus scanner, the user and FARO Sphere. For example, remote control of the laser scanner, project management and on-site calibration can be carried out conveniently and quickly via the app. Photos and comments can also be added to the project. Thanks to pre-registration, you receive feedback on the scan results on site. The final registration of the scan data takes place in the FARO Scene software.

With FARO Sphere XG, FARO offers an efficient cloud-based platform for all FARO services & point cloud applications. Sphere offers you as a user secure access to all services in the FARO ecosystem, allowing you to work even more efficiently.

You simply upload the data captured via FARO Stream to the FARO Sphere XG collaboration platform and then use it optimally in all FARO point cloud applications. The difference is that you can now conveniently control the scanner completely from your smartphone or tablet using the FARO Stream app and register it directly in the field. You can also add comments. FARO Stream is available for both Android and iOS.

After uploading from Stream, the project is visible in the Sphere Cloud platform and is processed into a Scene and WebShare project.

Collaborate with project participants worldwide at any time! The scan data can be displayed, shared and explored directly in any standard web browser in real time. No more data packets. So you can make better decisions faster.

Data synchronization between DataHub, WebShare and FARO Sphere also ensures that the project is always up to date and the whole team is working with the same data. You can download the project from Sphere with FARO SyncAgent, open it in Scene and perform the final registration. SyncAgent then synchronizes all project changes back to Sphere.
