The PanoCam is very user-friendly and powerful. With the Ricoh Theta Z1 you can capture natural 360° images with a resolution of approx. 23MP (6720 x 3360, 7K), ensuring highly precise image composition.

Thanks to the newly developed optical lens unit, annoying ghost images, stray light and purple fringing are effectively reduced. The aperture mechanism has been redesigned and now offers aperture settings of F2.1, F3.5 and F5.6. The PanoCam achieves outstanding depth of field and produces impressively clear images.

The Ricoh Theta Z1 is also capable of producing incredibly realistic spherical video in 4K quality (3840 x 1920) at a frame rate of 29.97 fps. It also supports 360° live streaming in 4K. With its outstanding image quality, it transmits realistic images in real time.

The camera body is made from a high-quality magnesium alloy, which offers a perfect balance between an elegant finish and robustness. This choice of material not only guarantees a pleasant touch, but also exceptional durability.

The integrated display panel allows you to check important information at a glance. Here you can see the current battery status, check the remaining number of still images that can be taken and set the current shooting mode.

Despite the large format image sensor, the internal design of the camera has been carefully optimized to ensure outstanding performance and high image quality.

As an extension to the FARO Focus Premium, the PanoCam enables you to make even more comprehensive use of your scanning equipment. The Ricoh Theta Z1 seamlessly supports the integration of the PanoCam system into your scanning workflow, giving you additional flexibility. The PanoCam can also be used in conjunction with older scanner models such as the FARO FocusS. FARO Scene 2022 or a newer version is required to process data from the FARO Focus Premium / Focus Core. To process the data of the FARO FocusS, at least Scene 2021 is required.
