ScanReference is a photogrammetry system developed by AICON 3D Systems. The system is suited for capturing larger objects (e.g. vehicle, machine part) with porr structure that have to be captured with a handheld scanner in several steps.
The object is equipped with reference targets and the reference scale-cross from ScanReference. Afterwards, photos are taken from various directions by using the delivered high-definition camera. The ScanReference software fully automatically processes a reference point network that can be used in the scan software. Due to the control points, the single scans can be merged easily accurately .
ScanReference is compatible with all major scanners (e.g. Artec Eva & Spider).
