Origins Core is an entry-level solution for the quick and easy creation of CAD-compatible results from point cloud data. With practical functions for measuring, aligning and creating floor plans and sections, it offers a solid basis for point cloud processing.
Origins 3D is the ideal solution for users who want to carry out more extensive 3D analyses. It includes all the functions of Origins Core and extends them with modules such as the Vectoriser, point cloud export, mesh creation, volume calculation and the Space Warp tool, with which polygonal, cylindrical or curved objects can be processed.
TitlePrice adjustments: Cheaper plugins and flexible rental options
In addition to splitting up the Origins software solution, PointCab has also revised the pricing structure. Plugins have been reduced in price to make them more accessible to a broader user base. In addition, the rental options have been made more flexible: While subscriptions without plugins have seen a slight price increase, prices for subscriptions with plugins have decreased. This allows users to choose the right solution depending on their needs and budget.
