A first important update is the introduction of the new "Fillbridge", which can be used to create polygonal bridges to connect two or more edges in a mesh. This command is useful for filling complex holes and creating watertight mesh models from scanned data.
Filtering outlier data
The import dialog now includes a new option called "Filter Outlier" that can be used to check bounding boxes of long-range scan data. With this option, unnecessary data that is outside the measured bounding box is filtered out during the import process, ensuring a cleaner and more accurate import into the application.
Improvements to „Auto Surface“
The "Auto Surface" command has been enhanced to increase data handling capability and allow surfacing of meshes containing two or more separate shells.
Delete small components option
A new option called "Delete small components" has been introduced in both the wrap and merge commands. This option allows for the automatic deletion of small groups of freestanding points that could potentially interfere with the smooth wrapping or merging process.
Properties of object
Another innovation makes it possible to display an object's properties not only via the "Edit feature" command, but also via the new properties window.
Updated licensing system
The "CimLM Licensing System" has now been updated to the latest version. This release of Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS now includes fixes from "CimLM 10.6, CimLM 10.5 and CimLM 3.4 related to application security, licensing stability and license borrowing.
Undo and redo in "Fill Holes“
Added the ability to undo the last action performed with the Fill Hole command.
Resizable brush selection
Now the size of the brush selection can be adjusted dynamically. This feature provides more flexibility and control over the selection process. The size of the brush selection can also be set in the Settings dialog.
