TitleThe workflow with the FARO Blink™
The Blink™ laser scanner is extremely easy to operate: one-button operation and intuitive processes allow even inexperienced users to get started quickly. The scanner can be controlled both independently and via the FARO Stream app.
During the scanning process, the LED indicator light shows whether the scanning position is within the optimum range. If you leave this range, this is displayed directly - for maximum data quality.
The integrated SLAM technology (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) tracks the movement between the scan positions and ensures automatic, continuous registration - without any manual target marks or references.
Once the project is complete, the scan data can either be uploaded to the FARO Sphere XG cloud or transferred directly from the scanner's internal memory via USB-C. Post-processing can be done either in the cloud with Sphere XG or locally with FARO Scene.
