Einfache Steuerung Ihres FARO Focus3D Scanners über WLAN

Mit dem FARO Focus3D Scanner können Sie in kürzester Zeit eine Verbindung über WLAN zu Ihren mobilen Geräten herstellen. So haben Sie die Möglichkeit, den Scanner ganz bequem und flexibel über Ihr Smartphone, Tablet oder Ihren Laptop zu steuern – egal, wo Sie sich gerade befinden.

Within a minimum of time, you can connect your FARO Focus3D scanner to mobile devices via WLAN and, then, control it easily by using your smartphone, tablet PC or laptop.

Step 1

Start up the scanner and open the settings.
Select General Settings and then WLAN.
Activate WLAN on the scanner.

Step 2

Now select the WLAN settings on your mobile device (smartphone/tablet PC/laptop) and select the laser scanner's network.
You will be asked for an access key. You find the key among the WLAN settings on your scanner - it's the Encryption Key. After the key has been entered, your mobile device is connected to the scanner.

Step 3

Open the browser on your mobile device.
Please enter the IP Address and Port in the address line. You will find both among your scanner's WLAN settings.

Example for entry in the address line: 192.168.123.123:8400/ui

Make sure that a colon separates IP address and port. Just click Open/Search.

On your mobile device, you can see the same screen you know from the scanner screen. Done! Now you can remote control the scanner.
