We want to scan shafts by using a laser scanner FARO Focus3D.
Is there anything I need to be aware of when I use the scanner overhead?

Hello Vianoo,
If you scan overhead, you proceed as with traditional scanning.
If you work with FARO Scene software, you should make sure that you exclude the tilt sensor for positioning.
