Faro Focus 3D tilt sensor for scanning overhead

Hi laser scanning community,

We want to scan overhead with a laser scanner FARO Focus3D. Do we have to take something into account concerning the tilt sensor? Is it necessary to deactivate the tilt sensor in advance?

Tilt sensor

Hey,

It is no problem for the scanning. For the analysis and interpretation in FARO Scene, you have to deactivate the use of a tilt sensor. Otherwise, Scene would try to reverse your scan.
