we are a team of students which is dealing with the laser scanner market within the scope of a project.
For drawing uo a market analysis, it would be helpful to know the advantages and disadvantages of the varying products (hardware as well as software). As laymen, we can hardly detect advantages.
It would be great if someone can give us a short overview! :-)

Hello Jannik,
You can't make broad-brush statements. Can you already determine areas of application for the laser scanner (architecture, outdoor shots etc.)? The type of scanner and the required software depends on this.
