EUROPEAN LiDAR MAPPING FORUM LAUNCH CALL FOR PAPERS - deadline 25th July 2012
The Technical Committee for the third European LiDAR Mapping Forum (ELMF), which is taking place in Salzburg, Austria 4-5 December 2012, has recently announced a Call for Papers and invites any interested parties to submit their abstracts online at https://secure.smartregister.co.uk/events/Intelligent-Exhibitions/2012/ELMF-CFP/start.aspxby 25th July 2012. The ELMF Technical Committee, led by Conference Chairman Alastair MacDonald from TMSI, will peer review each abstract and the final programme will be announced at the beginning of September.
THE ELMF IS THE PREMIER EVENT IN EUROPE...
...focused on applying the technology of LIDAR and laser scanning to deliver outside mapping and imaging solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner across a variety of markets. Over two days the conference will focus on the use of LIDAR to support transport, urban modelling, asset management, coastal zone mapping and 3D and GIS applications. OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO THE EXHIBITION
In addition, the organisers are delighted to report that, despite only recently launching the dates for the next European LiDAR Mapping Forum, they have been overwhelmed by the response from organisations wishing to exhibit. Why such a rush? It might have something to do with the fact that over 98% of exhibitors rated the 2011 exhibition as good or excellent! The ELMF welcomes organisations involved in Airborne, Bathymetric LIDAR and Mobile Mapping Systems, including system and component manufacturers, operators, service companies and specialists in data handling and management, to exhibit or sponsor at the ELMF event.
