Using laser scanning for lighting design
The lighting designers of lichtraeume created a fantastic lighting design for the modern pediatrician's office of the AOK, the largest health insurance company in Germany. Gercek and Muralter created many great projects in the past. For example, they established, among others, a concept for the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). Furthermore, Fatih Gercek is, among other things, responsible for the lighting design at the AOK Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany.
Applying laser scanning for verification purposes
With the intention in mind to plan and manage the design in an effective manner, 3D laser scanning was used to obtain an accurate representation of the premises. Laserscanning Europe was in charge of scanning the pediatrician's office. Thanks to the use of laser scanners, Laserscanning Europe detected defects in the walls and the structure of the building; thus, all installations could be planned and adapted accordingly.
