Tripod adapter for reference spheres available in 2 variations

Blog Kategorien:

Dear laser scanning community,

From now on, the tripod adapter for reference spheres is available in two variations: with M8 thread and with magnetic clip. Both connectivity options enable positive centering of your reference sphere. Both types of adapters can be attached to a tripod with claw system.

What is the difference between both connectivity options?

The adapter with M8 thread is used to screw the reference sphere onto the adapter. The adapter with magnetic clip provides the possibility to attach the reference sphere's magnet base precisely to the adapter's metal disk.

In both variations, the adapter is available for reference spheres XXL (diameter 200mm/7.9 in).
Adapters with M8 thread or magnetic clip for spheres with a diameter of 145mm (5.7 in) allow the attachment of the reference spheres Basic, Flexi and UltraX as well as the mini prism. You can attach the large and the small checkerboard target; but in this case, a height of 196mm (7.7 in) cannot be reached.

You can acquire the tripod adapter with magnetic clip until the end of September 2013 at a special price of 95 euros. Afterwards, the adapter is available in our web whop at a price of 110 euros.
