Dear laser scanning community,
From now on, we offer a new reference sphere: UltraX sphere with two connectors. The new reference sphere is equipped with two female threads located opposite to each other. Both connectors of the highly precise UltraX sphere are exactly arranged in the sphere's diameter. Due to the second connector, you can attach a GPS receiver or a prism, for instance, to the sphere and thus measure the sphere's position during laser scanning.
UltraX with two connectors is the perfect near target for the Scan&Go system: In place of a target plate for the Scan&Go system, you can easily use the reference sphere and thus don't need to adjust the target. Due to the second connection option, this reference sphere is perfectly suited for use in combination with Scan&Go's Level-Plane Evo.
